Article 15:  Cancellation of Contracts


Increase in cancellation fees.   
 


Article 19:  Salaries

* General Increases of:              2.5% from May 1, 2009
                                                  2.9% from September 1, 2009
                                                  2.5% from September 1, 2010

* Increase for sessional librarians and music teachers of 2.5% as of first pay 
period after ratification, then 2.9% increase from September 1, 2009 and
2.5% increase from September 1, 2010.

* A lump sum payment to be made as follows:  In lieu of retroactive pay, each
employee paid the minimum stipend who would have received an increase of
$100 or more per 3 credit-hour appointment worked between September 1,
2008 and April 30, 2009 if the 2.5% increase had been applied on September
1, 2008, shall receive a lump sum payment of $100 per 3 credit-hour
appointment.  For hourly paid employees (i.e., Librarians and Music Teachers)
who were paid the minimum hourly rate and who would have received an
increase of $50 or more if the 2.5% increase had been applied on September
1, 2008, shall receive a lump sum payment equivalent to the increase they
would have received.
 
 

* Universities North rates to meet minimum stipend for regular session.

* Phase in equalization of summer session rates in section 19.2 and Inter-
Universities North rates in section 19.4 over years two and three of the
agreement, as follows: increase rates effective May 1, 2010 by an additional
5%; increase rates effective May 1, 2011 to equal those of September 1, 2010
regular session.


Article 28:  Expiration and Renewal

3-year contract:  September 1, 2008 to August 31, 2011
